Bogliasco Fellow
Thanks to the wonderful Bogliasco Foundation (& my amazing friend Ian) for this extraordinary opportunity to work on my feminist memoir of the global AIDS crisis. My story draws on the collective efforts of colleagues and friends over more than three decades, and is designed to tell stories of the past, share lessons and inspire other social rights-based movements, especially those seeking to secure women’s rights to decide for themselves about their bodies. As countries lurch away from progressive agendas that respect human rights, ushering in cultures of hatred and blame, this project is tragically timely.
