Technical Review Panel, Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria
With fellow Focal Point, Felicity Young from Brisbane, Australia, my role is to support and represent the cadre of Human Rights and Gender Equality (HRG) Experts on the Technical Review Panel (TRP) of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund). The HRG experts draw on their depth of technical knowledge to make sure that all Funding Requests to the Global Fund promote and protect human rights and gender equality, in line with the Global Fund strategy and the knowledge that programmes to end HIV, TB and malaria can only be successful when equity and Human Rights are central to their design and delivery.
